Rococo Mirror Frame
An ornate 19th-century carved and gessoed French mirror.
There isn't a straight line in this mirror, yet there is a symmetry to it, which is so clever.
The scallop crest is supported with rococo scrolls. The mirror's edges are in an ornate laurel leaf manner, with marvellous hanging leaves.
The mirror with its ornately carved solid oak frame is pure quality!
