Jointed Stool with lid
The Jacobean style carving on this small stool would indicate that it dates from the 1660s.
In fact, it is an early 20th century copy, but smashing quality and a lovely patina.
The stool's lift-up lid and fluted leg turnings make it a very attractive piece.
