Louis Philippe Mirror with Water Engraving
There are a lot of ornate mirrors, but this is the epitome of understatement.
Some mirrors are paint finished and some are done in slag metal. The best are oil gilded and the very very best are water gilded. This frame is engraved water gilding AND it has its original mercury glass.
