French Commode
Louis XV French commode dating from the late 19th century. The commode is oak lined and veneered with red walnut and kingwood, boxwood stringing and ebony. The handles, key escutcheons and mounts are all excellent old French castings in bronze - probably originally gold leaved. The top is a good 19th century Italian serpentine marble.
